<p>The federal capital territory, Abuja, has been engulfed with chaos as the protesters for Nnamdi Kanu&#8217;s release and the security operatives continue their conflict.</p>
<p>From court clashes of whether to hold the protest or not, to police having the court restricting the protesters to some places in the city, with the villa, correctional centers and force headquarters being marked as red zones.</p>
<p>In the early hours of today, Sahara Reporters and Punch reported that passersby have been tear gassed by the security operatives, thinking they were part of the protesters.</p>

<p>Most roads are inaccessible because of the protest at the moment and as such, vehicles are stucked, trapped and the roads congested.</p>

<p>The latest of reports from the protest said that live bullets have been fired at the protesters aiming at scaring them away.</p>
<p>Similarly, the convener of the protest, Mr. Omoyele Sowore, disclosed on his X handle(formerly Twitter) that the security operatives have arrested Kanu&#8217;s lawyer, Aloy Ejimakor, his brother, and some passersby.</p>
<p>&#8220;The @PoliceNG team deployed to brutalize #FreeNnamdiKanuNow protesters arrested Nnamdi Kanu’s brother, and his lawyer, @AloyEjimakor, as well as innocent bystanders. They were beaten and taken to the FCT command. The police must release them immediately!,” Sowore wrote.</p>
