<p>He noted that this monumental project aims to significantly enhance water supply and improve living standards for residents across three key local governments: Rano, Kibiya, and Bunkure.</p>
<p>The new water treatment plant, once completed, is set to serve the growing population of these three local government areas, ensuring access to clean and potable water for thousands of residents.</p>

<p>The Chairmen emphasized that the establishment of the new water treatment plant would not only improve access to clean water but also create job opportunities and contribute to overall community development.</p>
<p>“We are extremely thankful to His Excellency, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, for this impactful project. It is a great step towards improving our infrastructure and ensuring that our people have access to basic necessities. This project will not only improve public health, but it will also create a lasting legacy of sustainable water supply for our communities,” one of the Chairmen stated.</p>
<p>Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has consistently prioritized the development of key sectors such as water, healthcare, and education, with a clear focus on creating lasting solutions for the people of Kano State.</p>
<p>The Taluwaiwai water treatment plant project will further bolster his administration’s efforts to improve access to essential services in both urban and rural areas.</p>
<p>The state government is already in the process of mobilizing resources for the commencement of the project, with construction set to begin in the coming weeks. The completion of the Taluwaiwai water treatment plant will undoubtedly mark a significant milestone in the state’s ongoing efforts to address water scarcity and improve public health outcomes.</p>
<p>A beneficiary, Ibrahim Musa Kahu, thanked Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for relieving them of the long-standing water scarcity in their local governments.</p>
