<p>This initiative was part of a promise made by the Director General of the National Productivity Centre, Dr. Baffa Babba Dan Agundi, during the presidential election campaign of Bola Ahmed Tinubu. <p>In his remarks during the distribution, the Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Muhammad Maigari Dingyadi (Katukan Sarkin Musulmi), lauded Dr. Dan Agundi, describing him as a committed, visionary, and exemplary leader worthy of emulation by Nigerian politicians.</p>
<p>Dr. Dan Agundi disclosed that the empowerment event is part of an ongoing initiative aimed at improving the welfare of citizens, particularly members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) affiliated with Tinubu Support Groups in the North West region.</p>
<p>He reaffirmed his commitment to continue the monthly empowerment scheme, stating that it fulfills promises made during the electioneering period to deliver tangible benefits to the people.</p>
<p>Dr. Dingyadi, who gave his commendation during a speech at the empowerment event organized in Kano by the Tinubu Support Groups (TSG)—a coalition of grassroots organizations backing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration under Hon. Dr. Baffa Babba Dan Agundi—expressed deep satisfaction with the impact of the initiatives.</p>
<p>He noted that the program aligns perfectly with the goals of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda and emphasized that such people-focused interventions are critical to national development and the promotion of inclusive governance.</p>
<p>The occasion was attended by dignitaries and stakeholders from Kano State, neighboring states, and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, highlighting the wide-reaching impact of the initiative.</p>
