<p>In a bold step towards strengthening agricultural training, research, and extension services, the Audu Bako College of Agriculture, Dambatta (ABCOAD), Kano State has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Extension Africa Consulting Ltd.</p>
<p>The agreement seeks to enhance knowledge transfer, promote innovation, and provide farmers with practical solutions to modern agricultural challenges.</p>
<p>Speaking at the signing ceremony, the Provost of ABCOAD, Professor M. A. <p>“This partnership is not just a document but a vision. It will provide our students with hands-on opportunities, strengthen research collaboration, and improve the capacity of extension workers who serve farmers across communities,” he said.</p>

<p>On his part, the Deputy Provost of the College, Dr. Hassan Ibrahim, described the MoU as a milestone that will not only transform the institution but also have a far-reaching impact on Kano State at large.</p>
<p>Dr. Ibrahim emphasized that the agreement marks a new dawn for academic and agricultural advancement in the state.</p>
<p>“Indeed, this MoU is a very commendable step that will enhance knowledge and research for both lecturers and students, as well as benefit farmers within and outside Kano State,” he said.</p>
<p>According to the Operations Manager of Extension Africa Consulting Ltd, Mr. Nasiru Darma, the collaboration will bridge the gap between academic research and field application.</p>
<p>“Extension Africa is committed to working closely with ABCOAD to deliver innovative agricultural solutions, enhance productivity, and empower local farmers with the tools they need to succeed,” Darma stated.</p>
<p>The partnership is expected to cover areas such as training programs, research development, capacity building, and the introduction of modern technologies aimed at improving food security and agricultural sustainability in Kano State and beyond.</p>
<p>This milestone marks a new era for ABCOAD as it continues to position itself as a leading institution in agricultural education, extension services, and rural transformation.</p>
