<p>Kano Indigene lawyers association has petition Senate president Godswil Akpabiio and the speaker of the house of representatives Tajuddeen Abbas over alleged murder case involving member representing Doguwa and Tudun Wada in Kano Alhassan Ado Doguwa in 2023 general elections.</p>
<p>In the petition, the association urged the leadership of the national Assembly to support the continued investigation of Honorable Doguwa on the allegations of involvement in the murder case during the 2023 polls.</p>

<p>The petition signed by its representative Dr. jafar Sadik, called on the leadership of the assembly to initiate public hearing on the matter or conduct their own independent investigation through the police or Kano ministry of justice.</p>
<p>&#8220;In a true democracy, nobody is above the law and failure to ensure justice for the oppressed is a breach of the laws in the land&#8221; Dr. Jafar explained.</p>
