<p>The aspiring candidate for the Gwarzo and Kabo Local Government areas Federal Constituency under the platform of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Dr. Umar Shu’aibu Gwarzo, has reiterated his appreciation for the meaningful projects currently transforming the lives of citizens across Kano State. He emphasized that the ongoing development is visible in every nook and cranny of the state and is a source of pride for both the people and the NNPP family.</p>
<p>Dr. Umar made this known through his representative, the Director of Administration and General Services of the Dr. Umar Shu’aibu Gwarzo Foundation, Dr. Baffa Datti Gwarzo, during a media briefing with journalists at the NNPP Party Office in Gwarzo town. He highlighted the central role of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf in steering Kano State towards progress and renewed hope through effective governance and equitable distribution of resources.</p>
<p>He described Governor Yusuf’s style of leadership as people-centered, noting that the governor has prioritized fairness and inclusiveness in the allocation of social amenities. <p>He pointed out that various national and professional bodies have awarded the governor with merit honors as a result of his dedication to service delivery. These awards, he said, are not merely ceremonial but are a reflection of genuine appreciation for the governor’s outstanding performance in governance, social welfare, and infrastructural development.</p>

<p>In his remarks, Dr. Baffa Datti Gwarzo drew attention to the positive assessment given by the National Body of all 774 Local Government Information Officers of Nigeria. He explained that the body, which represents information officers from all 44 local government areas in Kano State lead the delegations by the commissioner of information and internal affairs comrade lbrahim Abdullahi Waiya who represented the Governor ALhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf at the occassion held at Abuja has acknowledged the governor’s achievements in promoting effective information dissemination and ensuring grassroots voices are heard in the policy-making process.</p>
<p>He further explained that the recognition from these officers demonstrates the value of transparency and openness in governance. According to him, the governor has succeeded in creating an atmosphere where information flows freely between the government and the people, strengthening trust and accountability at all levels.</p>
<p>Additionally, Dr. Baffa Datti applauded the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) for its official visit to Kano State. During the visit, NIPR officials inspected several infrastructural projects embarked upon by the state government. Their independent assessment, which graded the projects as excellent, further validated the governor’s efforts to ensure that resources are utilized effectively for the betterment of citizens.</p>
<p>He added that the visit of such a professional body demonstrates that Kano State is not only on the path of progress but is also becoming a model for good governance and responsible leadership in Nigeria. The endorsement from NIPR, he noted, speaks volumes about the credibility of the government’s initiatives and its impact on everyday lives.</p>
<p>Dr. Umar Shu’aibu Gwarzo stressed that his own ambition to represent the people of Gwarzo and Kabo Local Government areas at the National Assembly is built upon the foundation laid by Governor Yusuf. He expressed confidence that, if elected, he would complement the governor’s vision by advocating for policies and programs that further strengthen development in Kano State and beyond.</p>
<p>He promised to channel federal resources and opportunities to his constituency, ensuring that the dividends of democracy reach every ward and community. His foundation, which has already carried out several interventions in education, health, and youth empowerment, would continue to serve as a vehicle for touching lives and bridging gaps in social development.</p>
<p>Dr. Umar concluded by thanking the people of Gwarzo and Kabo Local Government areas for their support and resilience. He assured them that their confidence would not be misplaced, as both Governor Yusuf and his own candidacy represent a new dawn for Kano State.</p>
