<p>Isa, who raised the concern while addressing journalists, said it was surprising that the NAHCON chairman had remained silent on the matter at a time when Nigerians were anxiously awaiting the report.</p>
<p>He warned that the commission’s delay in presenting the document could raise public suspicion and reinforce allegations currently being investigated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) regarding the alleged diversion of â¦50 billion.</p>

<p>Traditionally, NAHCON published its annual Hajj report soon after the exercise, providing details on planning, logistics, pilgrim welfare, challenges, and financial accountability. The absence of the 2025 report has fueled speculation among stakeholders in the Hajj sector.</p>

<p>The EFCC is currently investigating claims of financial irregularities linked to NAHCON, including the alleged mismanagement of billions of naira meant for pilgrims’ services.</p>
<p>As of press time, Professor Abdullahi Sale Usman and the commission had not issued an official response to Isa’s remarks or provided an update on the status of the 2025 Hajj report.</p>
