The saying “every prostitute was once a virgin” carries a deep moral and social message. It reminds us that no one is born into a life of struggle or exploitation. Life circumstances, choices or opportunities often push people into either positive or negative paths. However, Instead of using this phrase as an insult, individuals and societies should deeply reflect on it as guidance and way of achievement.

It is often said ‘Every one is Born free, fresh and innocent’ this is quite to true as every person begins life with innocence and potential. However, some factors like poverty, ignorance, and negative influences could lead to desperation, evil acts as well as immorality and foul play in the society.

These outcomes compel the importance of providing support and opportunities to prevent such outrageous situations.
The Role of the Society in shaping, molding and making individuals to become good people unfortunately, society often judges harshly instead of helping. People trapped in stigmatized professions face rejection rather than rehabilitation. If society provided guidance, protection, and empowerment—especially for women and young girls—many could avoid such paths.

Role and Exploitation of men as role models can never be over emphasized. In many cases, men also contribute to this problem rather than bringing solution to it. Young women are often deceived in the name of love, only to be abandoned once their virtues are taken. This betrayal leaves many with broken hearts, families and making many vulnerable. Some women are tricked or used and dumped, lose hope, confidence and are unfairly labeled as “spoilt/stubborn,” which pushes them into destructive lifestyles and also became Victims of the Circumstances. It is obvious that not all women in prostitution entered it by choice. Some are forced through raped while trying to earn a living, others are deceived while selling goods on the street, and some are forced into it due to poverty and family pressure. Ironically, many of the same men who abuse women later castigate them and label them as “prostitutes.” This hypocrisy must be addressed.

Another precarious issue is the Misplaced Judgments where Society often judges women by mere physical appearance two ladies may walk side by side, one with decent dressing and the other dressed indecently in revealing clothes, but men sometimes target the modest one to maltreat her. This proves that the problem lies not in appearance but in people’s bad intentions and actions.

In conclusion the Need for Guidance and Prevention by individuals, group, family and community by family values, moral education, and mentorship to play vital role in shaping youths. Teaching young people about dignity, self-respect, and responsible choices can prevent them from falling victim to exploitation. At the same time, men must also be educated about respect, discipline, and accountability.

This has bring to the fore the saying “every prostitute was once a virgin” is not merely a statement but a powerful lesson. It shows that people’s lives are shaped by circumstances, exploitation, and society’s failure to provide guidance. Instead of judging or condemning, we must promote compassion, awareness, and prevention. By supporting vulnerable individuals and correcting societal attitudes, we can build a future where everyone lives with dignity and hope.
