<p>The Member of the House of Representatives representing Bichi Federal Constituency and Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriations, Hon. (Dr.) Abubakar Kabir Abubakar, has announced the payment of school fees for 144 undergraduate students from Bichi Local Government Area studying at Bayero University, Kano (BUK). The total amount disbursed for the 2024/2025 academic session stands at â¦16,041,500.00. <p>Hon. Abubakar Kabir Abubakar has long been recognized for his consistent sponsorship of students from Bichi pursuing higher education. In his Facebook post, he reiterated his dedication to funding academic pursuits at all levels, stating that he has supported students enrolled in Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programmes in reputable institutions across Nigeria. “This is not a one-off gesture. It is a sustained effort to ensure that no brilliant mind is left behind due to financial constraints,” he emphasized.</p>
<p>In a further demonstration of his commitment to global academic exposure, Hon.
