<p>This was contained in a statement jointly signed by the Chairman of the Council, Comrade Sulaiman Abdullahi Dederi, and the Secretary, Abubakar Shehu Kwaru, and made available to media outfits.</p>
<p>It added that, based on constitutional provisions, the National Executive Council meeting will be held between Monday, 11th to Wednesday, 13th August 2025.</p>
<p>The statement maintained that participants during the gathering will come from the thirty-six states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.</p>

<p>Tuesday&#8217;s activities include a media tour of project sites being executed by the present administration in the state, courtesy visits, and a media parley with His Excellency, the Executive Governor, NEC meeting (Technical), and Dinner/Award Night.</p>
<p>The participants are expected to depart on Wednesday, the 13th of this month, as the National President of the NUJ, Comrade Alhassan Yahya, will meet Kano veteran journalists on the same day.</p>
<p>The statement hence appreciates the financial benevolence and, above all, the profound support and cooperation rendered by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, and the State Commissioner of Information, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, toward making the hosting right a reality.</p>
<p>It moreover prayed to God Almighty for a safe trip for the various attendees as well as fruitful deliberations during the colloquium.</p>
