<p>This appointment follows years of dedication and expertise demonstrated by Anas in the field of journalism, particularly in radio and television broadcasting.</p>
<p>In an interview with TST Hausa, Anas expressed his gratitude to colleagues and supporters who have stood by him throughout his career. He called on the public to continue offering prayers and goodwill for his success in this new role.</p>
<p>On the evening of Thursday, July 31, 2025, Anas formally submitted his resignation to the management of Rahma Radio and Television Kano.</p>

<p>Anas began his journalism journey in 2006 at Freedom Radio Kano (99.5 FM) as a freelance journalist, where he hosted an Arabic-language program called Mazeekah. In 2011, he officially joined Rahma Radio, reporting from the office of the Deputy Governor of Kano State. By 2015, he became Rahma Radio’s correspondent at the Governor’s Office.</p>
<p>During his tenure at Rahma Radio, Anas held various roles including News Editor, News Caster, Program Producer (notably the Fatawowin Rahma show with Professor Sani Umar Rijiyar Lemo), Translator (from English to Hausa and Arabic), and host of the weekend Arabic program Munawwatul Arab. He eventually rose to become Head of News and Current Affairs at Rahma Radio and Television.</p>
<p>Renowned for his journalistic excellence and deep understanding of broadcast media, Anas Idris Hassan now steps into his new leadership role at Vision FM Kano, with a strong commitment to building a vibrant radio station that continues to serve the community.</p>
