<p>In a statement issued to the press, the Director of Public Enlightenment at KANSIEC, Bashir Habib Yahaya, described the allegations as baseless and the handiwork of mischief-makers determined to undermine the achievements of the commission under Professor Malumfashi’s leadership.</p>
<p>“These allegations are mere fabrications aimed at tarnishing the reputation of a man who has served the state diligently,” Bashir Habib said.</p>

<p>“They are only worried about his success in conducting elections that produced leaders who are delivering good governance,” Bashir added.</p>

<p>He further expressed confidence in Professor Malumfashi&#8217;s integrity and leadership, saying, “Even if he appears in court, I am confident he will come out very clean.”</p>
<p>The commission urged the public to disregard what it called politically motivated propaganda and pledged to continue working for transparent and credible electoral processes in Kano State.</p>
