<p>The National President of the Tinubu Care and Concern (TCC) group, Kamal Sarki, has clarified that the recent resignation of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje as National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was entirely voluntary and not due to any conflict with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. <p>According to Sarki, Tinubu Care and Concern is a dedicated pro-APC and pro-Tinubu support organization that began its activities in Kano State and has since expanded into other northern states.</p>
<p>He attributed President Tinubu’s strong performance in Kano during the 2023 general elections to the work of groups like TCC and the efforts of party stalwarts, particularly Dr. Ganduje and Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin.</p>
<p>Sarki emphasized that Ganduje played a critical role in establishing and supporting numerous Tinubu support groups across Nigeria. “The success of APC in Kano and Tinubu’s highest votes from the state were results of Ganduje’s tireless mobilization and leadership. His influence in the region remains unmatched,” he said.</p>

<p>Addressing speculations following Ganduje’s resignation, Sarki warned against mischief by opposition elements who seek to use the development to attack the party and the presidency. “The resignation was purely on health grounds. There is no political rift between Dr. Ganduje and President Tinubu. We are confident the president will address this issue when he returns to the country,” he said.</p>

<p>He called on all APC supporters, especially followers of Dr. Ganduje, to remain calm and focused on the unity of the party. “We urge all loyalists to ignore political opportunists spreading false narratives. Let’s rally around the party and continue to support President Tinubu’s administration,” he added.</p>
<p>Sarki highlighted some of the achievements of President Tinubu’s administration in its first year, describing them as tangible evidence that the Renewed Hope Agenda is working. “From economic reforms like fuel subsidy removal and foreign exchange unification to massive investment in education, infrastructure, and healthcare, this administration is laying the foundation for sustainable development,” he said.</p>
<p>He further pointed to specific achievements including the student loan scheme, expansion of primary healthcare centers, introduction of compressed natural gas initiatives, and implementation of the new national minimum wage, adding that these measures are already easing the burden on Nigerians and driving growth.</p>
<p>Tinubu Care and Concern urged the APC leadership at both national and state levels to improve communication with the public and dispel misinformation. “We encourage the party to proactively speak to Nigerians, reassert its mission, and reassure citizens of its commitment to nation-building,” Sarki stated.</p>
<p>The group concluded the press briefing with a renewed call for unity among party members and Nigerians at large. “Together, we can build a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria. Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria! Long live President Bola Tinubu! Long live the APC!” Sarki declared.</p>
