<p>Alhaji Aminu Dantata, who passed away on June 28, a Kano business mogul, will be buried in Medina, one of Islam&#8217;s holiest cities and the city of the Prophet of Islam, Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam).</p>
<p>The Kano State Government and a Nigerian delegation arrived in the holy city on Monday morning, including Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State and other prominent Islamic clerics who were part of the Federal Government delegation, including Dr. Bashir Aliyu Umar, the Chief Imam of Alfurqan Mosque in Kano, and the state&#8217;s Commandant General, Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa.</p>

<p>Alhaji Aminu Dantata&#8217;s funeral prayer will take place either after Zuhr or Asr prayers at the Prophet’s Mosque, depending on what the Saudi authorities decide. He is expected to be buried at one of the oldest cemeteries, BaqīÊ¿, where many of the Prophet’s (PBUH) companions were buried.</p>
