<p>A statement by the group President Comrade Idris Ibrahim Unguwar Gini said, in light of recent events and growing political tension in some quarters, KYPC is strongly urging youth not to allow themselves to be used by selfish politicians or individuals with hidden agendas to ignite conflict, chaos, or disharmony in Kano.</p>

<p>&#8220;Kano is a land of peace, culture, and dignity. The youth, as the backbone of the society, must continue to uphold these values by avoiding provocative acts, refraining from political thuggery, and resisting any attempt to cause violence or unrest during this festive period&#8221;.</p>
