<p>Baba Umar described the accident as tragic and a great loss of Kano youth after representing their state at a national competition.</p>
<p>&#8220;Am shocked and saddened by the tragic news of the demise of these youth, it is a great loss not only to their families, but to the Kano people and sports community&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I extend my heartfelt condolences to their immediate family, the government of Kano state and the sports community, may Allah grant the deceased Jannatul Firdaus and give their families the courage to bear the lost.</p>

<p>Baba Abubakar Umar said, in just two years, governor Abba Kabir Yusuf&#8217;s government has touched the lives of kano people in all aspects of life &#8216; especially in the education sector where he heavily injected 1/3 of the state budget in the entire two years of his administration.&#8221;This indeed has never occurred in the history of Nigeria since independence. He &#8216; prayed that Almighty Allah will strength him with good health to continue on this slate.</p>
<p>He said, the ongoing reforms of the education sector is a clear testimony of the Governor&#8217;s intention to lay a solid foundation of building an educated society.</p>
<p>He prayed for Allah&#8217;s guidance to the governor and his cabinet, and gave him more wisdom and courage to continue working for the progress of Kano.<br />
The &#8216; Executive Secretary then, wishes all pilgrims from Kano and the world for a successful hajji Insha Allah.</p>
