<p>Making the presentation on behalf of the government, the Commissioner for Internal Security and Special Services, Retired Air Vice Marshal Ibrahim Umaru, said the gesture was aimed at consoling the bereaved family and reaffirming the state’s commitment to the security and welfare of its citizens. “This is not compensation for the life lost but a way of showing concern and support in your time of grief,” AVM Umaru stated.</p>
<p>He further emphasized that the Abba Kabir Yusuf-led administration would not tolerate any attempt by criminal elements to undermine the relative peace in Kano State. “We will not fold our arms while unscrupulous individuals terrorize communities. I assure you, the perpetrators of this wicked act will be apprehended and brought to justice,” he added.</p>

<p>The relief materials presented by the state government included two bags of rice, cartons of spaghetti, macaroni, and detergent, as well as 25 litres of cooking oil and palm oil, a bag of flour sugar, and a carton of laundry soap.</p>
