AVM Umar highlighted the ongoing efforts of Governor Abba Kabiru Yusuf’s administration to curb youth unemployment through skills acquisition programs. These initiatives aim to make young people self-reliant and constructive members of society, reducing the allure of criminal activities.</p>

<p>Community Leaders Call for Strategic Security Measures</p>
<p>Malam Usaini Ibrahim Tudun Fulani, Ward Head of Kurna Tudun Fulani, called on the government to intensify efforts in curbing insecurity caused by gangs and unruly elements. He proposed converting a local dumpsite into a police outpost, believing this would significantly strengthen security in the area.</p>
<p>During the visit, the commissioner inspected the proposed site, accompanied by elders from the community. He assured them that the suggestion would be relayed to the government for consideration.</p>
<p>Condolences to Victims&#8217; Families</p>
<p>In an emotional moment, AVM Umar, alongside the ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Alhaji Dan’asabe Yahya, and other directors, extended condolences to Malam Sa’idu Mai Hula, whose son was tragically killed in the recent clashes. They prayed for divine comfort and fortitude for the bereaved family.</p>
<p>Kano State Government reiterated its commitment to ensuring peace, urging residents to cooperate with security agencies and report any suspicious activities. Authorities vowed to continue proactive measures to protect communities from further violence.</p>
