<p>Shuaibu, a former national officer of the NUJ and Senior Special Assistant (North West) to the union’s former President, Christopher Ikechukwu Isiguzo, lauded the NUJ’s pivotal role in shaping the country’s media landscape.</p>
<p>He acknowledged the union’s efforts in championing ethical journalism and advocating for improved working conditions for media professionals.</p>
<p>The Prime Time News publisher, who also holds the traditional title of Danmalikin Shanono, emphasized the NUJ’s significance in fostering a free and responsible press, which remains essential for national development and democracy.</p>
