Rahama Radio Loses Pioneer Judicial Correspondent

Rahama Radio and Television has lost one of its pioneer staff, Abubakar Dahiru Yakasai, after a brief illness.

Confirming the death, Rabiu Sadauki Kura, a staff member of Rahama Radio and a close associate of the deceased, said the late Abubakar Dahiru died on Thursday evening after a brief illness. “He started the illness last week, but he didn’t succumb,” he said.

Abubakar Dahiru Yakasai was a pioneer crime and judicial reporter of Rahama Radio.

He was later co-opted as a co-host of the popular magazine program, ‘Mu karkade Kunnuwa.’

Yakasai will be remembered for his humor and engaging the audience while holding the microphone as a duty continuity announcer.

The burial of the deceased is scheduled to take place at 9 am tomorrow, Friday, at his residence located at Konannan Gidan Mai, Dorayi in Gwale Local Govt. Kano.
