<p>The residents said during the period of power outage, life was difficult for them as they lived in darkness even as water supply to their homes was affected.</p>
<p>One of them, Aliyu Mohammed said with the restoration of electricity in the area, normal life has returned considering that welders, tailors, barbers and others have gone back to business.</p>
<p>Speaking on the development, KEDCO&#8217;s Spokesperson, Sani Bala Sani said they have rehabilitated the Dutse Old Injection Substation, in Dutse, Jigawa State with the refurbishment of the burnt 7.5 MVA transformer, replacement of all its power and control cables, enhancement of the Station&#8217;s safety and security as well as holistic renovation of the switch-yard and offices.</p>
