<p>The composition of the committee is: Comrade Nura Ma&#8217;aji Sumaila, Honorable Commissioner Ministry for Public Procurement Project Monitoring and Evaluation, Kano as a Chairman, Comrade Ibrahim Waiya, Honorable Commissioner Ministry of Information, member and Engr Marwan Ahmad Honorable Commissioner Ministry of Works and Housing, member</p>
<p>Other members of the committee are: Alhaji Ali Haruna Makoda, Commissioner of Education, member, Honorable Nasiru Sule Garo, Honorable Commissioner Ministry for Special Duties, member and Alhaji Muhammad Habibu Sale State Chairman of the Kano Projects Protection Association (Kano PRO-PA) also member.</p>

<p>It was a familiarization meeting aimed at defining modalities and coming up with terms of references.</p>

<p>Part of the meeting suggested to include Civil Society Organizations, Community Based Organizations and Non-governmental organizations in the activities of the committee as a participatory approach to assess the progress and impact of community projects and programs.</p>
<p>The Kano State government has approved more than 300 projects across the state with the ministry of work and the ministry of education as client ministries. Providing the services of the honorable Commissioners from those ministries will help the 6-man committee to execute its work judiciously.</p>
