NUJ Kano Chief Scribe Loses Mother
The Secretary of Kano State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Comrade Abubakar Shehu Kwaru, lost his biological mother, Hajiya Zulaihat Shua’ibu.
The late Hajiya Zulaihat Shua’ibu was laid to rest on Friday after a brief illness at the age of seventy.

The deceased was already buried according to Islamic teachings at Bulukiya graveyard in the ancient city of Kano.
The late Zulaihat Shua’ibu left behind eight children, grandchildren, and many relatives.
Among them are Comrade Abubakar Shehu Kwaru of Abubakar Rimi Television and the State Secretary of NUJ, Ali Shehu Kwaru, a staff of the State Senior Secondary Schools Management, and Yahaya Shehu Kwaru of the Ministry of Justice.

People from various walks of life were trooping to register their condolences at Mandawari quarters, near Aminu Ado Bayero’s personal residence in Gwale local government area.
