KILAF24 Festival Showcases Indigenous Films and Cultural Heritage on Day Two

As the KILAF award Festival entered the second day, screening of films contesting for the 2024 Award commenced at the department of theatre art, faculty of communications, Bayero University Kano.

A film produced by Musa Jammaje titled “Princess of Galma was on the screen by 4pm today for hundreds of viewers.

Today’s activities start with a conference as a continuation of day One simultaneously together with master class for those who register for capacity building.

Series of educative papers were presented by schoolers and other stakeholders in the industry.

The master class traditionally attracted stakeholders in the film industry in order to equip themselves with modern techniques of film scripts writing, acting, directing, production and marketing.

Other activities include Arts, Crafts, and products exhibition as well as African kitchen site for varieties of traditional African dishes especially that of the Hausa culture.
