The 2023 PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has been identified as the only person capable of defeating Bola Tinubu in 2027, according to the National Chairman of PDP One Family, Hon. Abdulrahman Mainasara Dala. In a press release, Dala responded to statements made by a PDP chieftain against Turakin Adamawa, defending Atiku’s leadership abilities.
Dala emphasized that Atiku has the experience and skills to effectively govern Nigeria. As the 2027 election approaches, Atiku is seen as a strong, seasoned leader ready to guide Nigeria to success. He highlighted that Atiku’s leadership would revitalize the economy and place Nigeria at the forefront of global excellence.
Dala also stressed the urgent need for a unifying president, particularly after what he described as nine years of divisive APC rule. He firmly believes that Atiku, if elected, would transform key sectors such as security, health, agriculture, and infrastructure, among others.
He called on Bode George and other PDP members to unite behind Atiku, stressing that their collective support is crucial for victory in 2027.
In his statement, Dala also pointed out that Bode George has had limited success in PDP politics since 1999. He added that Atiku remains committed to re-establishing order within the party and rescuing Nigeria from its current challenges.
The PDP One Family expressed disappointment with Bode George’s call for a southern candidate in 2027, reminding him that Nigeria has already seen multiple presidents from both the northern and southern regions.
