<p dir="ltr">Doguwa refuted Jibrin’s threats of political repercussions, emphasizing his loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing it as his &#8220;party for life.&#8221; He accused Jibrin of using deception and falsehoods to distract from his own alleged misdeeds. Doguwa recalled a video in which Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, affiliated with Jibrin, allegedly insulted APC leadership, sparking a series of verbal disputes. Despite being advised to drop the matter, Doguwa felt it necessary to address the alleged violence during the last elections in his constituency, attributing the crisis to a political scheme aimed at undermining his political career.</p>

<p dir="ltr">According to Doguwa, multiple court rulings have cleared him of accusations regarding the election violence, affirming his innocence. He cited a Federal High Court ruling in Abuja that ordered the Kano State government to compensate him for defamation and harassment. Doguwa dismissed claims linking him to election-related violence, asserting that police investigations have exonerated him and targeted NNPP members as the culprits. He emphasized that the legal system, including the Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice in Kano State, supported his innocence in these matters.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Turning the tables, Doguwa accused Jibrin of orchestrating violent attacks during the 2019 elections, which allegedly resulted in the deaths of seven Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) supporters. Doguwa alleged that Jibrin attacked a campaign rally led by Kwankwaso, the PDP leader in Kano at the time. Despite the allegations against Jibrin, Doguwa highlighted the lack of a conclusive investigation into the attacks. He challenged Jibrin to substantiate his accusations and threatened potential legal action from those Jibrin allegedly targeted. Doguwa concluded by expressing confidence in his political resilience and dismissing Jibrin’s threats as fabrications.</p>
