19 Northern Student Union Urged Students To Reject Protest

The chairmen and leaders of the 19 Northern Student Union, urge all students to reject any form of protest and instead embrace dialogue.

This is contained in a statement signed by Comred Abdullateef Banapupa and Comred Maxwell on behalf of 19 states Northern students Union and made available to press.

Adding that The recent calls for protest are orchestrated by unknown individuals who seek to undermine democracy and national stability. Their true intentions are to incite looting, criminality, and violence, rather than addressing economic hardships.

We stand in support of the Federal Government, led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is working tirelessly to alleviate economic challenges. The government has implemented various initiatives, including a new minimum wage, student loans, and the National Youth Investment Program, demonstrating their commitment to supporting students and youth.

We appeal to Nigerian students and patriotic citizens to disregard invitations to participate in anti-government protests. Let us unite behind the government we elected, the government that cares for us. Together, we can build a brighter future for Nigeria.
