Kano APC Youth Coalition Urges Constructive Dialogue Over Protests

The Coalition of All Progressives Congress, APC Youth Movements, Kano State has call on the youth to engage in constructive dialogue with government rather than taking to the streets to protest the economic hardships bedeviling the country.

Chairman of the Coalition, Adamu Mukhtar Unguwar Gini made the call at a press briefing held in Kano.

He further said open communication and collaboration are more effective in pressing home
demands and ensuring that the voices of the youth are heard.

According to him, the Coalition believed that a
peaceful approach will also yield a better results and preventing the potential for unrest and violence.

“Furthermore, we call on governments at all levels to take decisive and immediate actions to alleviate the suffering of the masses. It is crucial that the government addresses the economic and social challenges facing the country, providing
tangible solutions to improve the quality of life for all Nigerians.”

Unguwar Gini explained “While we acknowledge the legitimate concerns and grievances of the youth, we
strongly advise against participating in this protest.

“History has shown that protests, even when well-intentioned, have often not resulted in the desired outcomes, We have seen instances where protests led to further instability and suffering, as witnessed in countries like Sudan, Libya, and recently, Kenya.

He stressed these nations, protests did not resolve the issues but rather exacerbated the challenges faced by the populace.
