The Director General of the National Productivity Centre Dr Baffa Babba Danagundi has dismissed a petition against his predecessor, the former Director General of the agency Dr Nasir Raji
It would be recalled that a group has recently petitioned the former Director General to the new DG over allegations of misappropriation and abuse of office.
In a statement on Monday issued to newsmen, Danagundi dismissed the petition for lacking in merit and failure of the petitioners to present themselves and their names.
“How can you consider a petition that was written by pseudonym? What is the name of the group and the signatories of the petition? He asked
Mr. Danagundi further told the public that he has maximum respect for the former Director General who has spent decades working in the public service to serve this country.
His family, friends and general public should take this as the work of Raji’s ememies to tarnish his hard earned integrity over 3 decade of service.
For the avoidance of doubt, anyone that cares to know the vehicles purchased by Raji in question should come to the headquarters and see for himself.
They are brand new which are not yet in use.”
He stressed that people like Dr Raji should not be kept aside and embarrassed by mischief makers but be carried along because they will add their wealth of experience to the agency.
The Director General thanked Raji for his service to the country and for bringing development to the Centre.
