Renowned social critic and head of the Movement for the Restoration of Justice, Alhaji Abdulkarim Dayyabu, said he is not aware of any protest being organized across the country. As someone who has been fighting for justice and the rights of the common man, Dayyabu made this statement in an interview with Freedom Radio in Kano.

According to the politician, the groups planning the protest seem faceless. However, he also called on the people to exercise patience and avoid anarchy.

Abdulkarim Dayyabu is an advocate of justice and a veteran politician who has been very critical of many governments in Nigeria for their dictatorial tendencies.

Before the death of former Head of State General Sani Abacha on June 8, 1998, Alhaji Abdulkarim Dayyabu was arrested and detained for criticizing the government. He was released alongside several political detainees when General Abdulsalami Abubakar took over the mantle of leadership after General Sani Abacha’s death.
