The Chairman of the NUJ Kano chapter, Comrade Abbas Ibrahim, stated that the journalists were drawn from various media organizations operating in Kano State, including online, print, and broadcast media.

Comrade Abbas Ibrahim added that there are numerous opportunities for journalists to exploit new digital technologies to achieve self-reliance. He urged them to adhere to ethical standards to differentiate themselves from quacks.
