The Kano Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists has established a three-member committee to reconcile the recent dispute between the Sports Writers Association, Kano chapter, and the Coach of Kano Pillars Football Club, Abdul Maikaba.
The committee, chaired by Abdullahi Yusuf, with Salma Yusuf as a member and Abdulgafar Olademeji as secretary, aims to identify the cause(s) of the impasse to prevent future occurrences for the public good. NUJ Secretary Abba Murtala confirmed this development, emphasizing the need for prompt resolution.
