A massive gathering of APC supporters welcomed the Kano 2023 APC Gubernatorial candidate, Alhaji Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, to Kano at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport.
One of the close aides to Dr. Gawuna informed NIGERIAN TRACKER that they were surprised by the turnout, despite the late purchase of Nasiru Gawuna’s plane ticket from Abuja to Kano by his admirers and supporters.
NIGERIAN TRACKER learned that Nasiru Gawuna was not in Kano prior to the May 29, 2023 handover date when he went to Abuja.
The candidate, whose party, the NNPP, challenged the ruling party in Kano over allegations of irregularities at the polls, won at the Tribunal and the Appeal Courts. However, the victory of Governor Yusuf was affirmed by the Supreme Court.
