Anti-Corruption Agency Raids Warehouses, Locks Many Amidst Rising Food Prices

Amidst soaring food prices across the country, Kano state’s public complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission have resulted in the locking of many warehouses at Dawanau International Market.

The chairman of the Kano Anti-Graft Agency, Muhyi Magaji Rimin Gado, led personnel of the commission in locking warehouses whose owners refused to cooperate and allow the commission to inspect them.

Muhyi Magaji told newsmen that they locked some of the warehouses to prevent the owners from taking away the goods, and his surveillance team will continue to remain vigilant.
