<p>The Association of Private Schools Owners of Nigeria ( APSON) Jigawa state chapter has called on the present administration in the state to consider private schools teachers while conducting the orientation and capacity building to teachers in the state.</p>
<p>The Association also appealed to the state government to provide more land for private Schools to achieve better expansion of conducive learning environment in their schools.</p>
<p>The call was made by the chairman Association of Private Schools Owners of Nigeria (APSON) Jigawa state chapter Comrade Ojo O. <p>&#8220;As the present administration in Jigawa state allocated almost 34 percent of it&#8217;s 2024 budget to Education sector, we appealed to the Commissioner of education to involve the private schools in teacher&#8217;s capacity building and other trainings.</p>

<p>&#8220;APSON also want use this opportunity and appeal to governor Malam Umar Namadi to allocate land to private schools praprietors to expand their schools for conducive learning environment&#8221;, Mr Ojo said.</p>
<p>The chairman who commended the Skyline University Nigeria for training 50 private schools praprietors in Jigawa state urged other Universities to emulate.</p>
<p>While delivering his speech, the Vice Chancellor of Skyline University Nigeria, Professor Ajith Kumar V.V expressed their readiness to partner with Jigawa government for strengthen the quality education system in state.</p>
<p>Professor Ajith Kumar explained that, as part of cooperate social responsibilities the Skyline University embarked on skills training of teachers in Kano, Jigawa, Bauchi among other states with aims to contribute their quota towards the development of the country.</p>
<p>&#8220;We believe our today&#8217;s interactions with private Schools praprietors will help them on designing a comprehensive strategies that would enhance quality education to secondary schools students to compete with others globally&#8221;.</p>
<p>While speaking to the University team, the director general State Educational Inspectorate and Monitoring Unit (SEIMU) Dr Ya&#8217;u Ahmad Sara said, Jigawa state government is ready to partner with Skyline University for improving the quality education in the state.</p>
<p>Dr Sara who urged the Jigawa private Schools praprietors to embarked on building good characters to their students, also commended the team for choosing Jigawa state among the few selected to benefit with the training.</p>
<p>Also speaking, the director Academic Support Services Skyline University, Sarada Maganti said, the team is in Jigawa to expand it&#8217;s mutual relationship to state government as the University clocked five years.</p>
<p>Maganti who advocates for education with good characters, urged private schools praprietors to focus on grooming the next generation with fundamental pillars like good vision, characters and values.</p>
