<p>On March 9, 2020, Governor Ganduje deposed Emir Muhammad Sanusi II for alleged insubordination and banished him to Awe in Nassarawa state before he took the Government to court, where he was released.</p>

<p>Now, with the Supreme Court victory, some people have ignited calls for the reinstatement of Sanusi II as Emir.</p>
<p>During the interview, Kwankwaso, who is the benefactor and political godfather of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, said they are yet to discuss the issue of the five Emirates created by Ganduje. When the need arises, they will sit down and iron out the loopholes that greeted the splitting of the Emirates.</p>
<p>Kwankwaso, alleged to be controlling the Government through the backdoor, said he knows that a time will come when they will discuss the issue of the Emirates, whether to remain as one or stay as they are, or even be destroyed.</p>
