The Oba Yoruba Kano, Murilata Alimi Otisese has extended his condolence message to Nigeria Football Federation, NFF over the demise of former Kano Pillars FC team manager , Salisu Yaro.
The oba commiserate with the founding father of Kano Pillars FC, Ibrahim Galadima over the loss .
Salisu Yaro passed away at his residence in Kano in the early hours of last Monday.
The monarch in a condolence message issued on Tuesday morning in Kano said the transition of late Salisu came at the time when his depth knowledge of the game was needed to further take the club to greater heights.
The sarkin Yoruba of Kano described late Salisu as a household name in the round leather game, saying Salisu spent over five decades in his life contributing to national development through football.
In his words , late Salisu sacrificed his life for humanity through football, he was cautious of his religious obligation and succeeded in contributing his quota to football without compromising the culture and the religion of his people.
He added that the former Raccah Rovers of Kano technocrat was a disciplinarian was reknown for his strictness for values .
