The Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has approved the appointment of Dr Umar Adamu Riruwai as the Provost of Kano State College of Health Sciences and Technology, effective December 12, 2023.
The Acting Secretary to the State Government, Malam Abdullahi Musa, made this announcement today in his office. He explained that the selection of Dr Umar Adamu Riruwai to lead the institution was based on his professional competence, extensive experience, patriotic disposition, dedication to duty, and, above all, commitment to the upliftment of the healthcare delivery system in the state.
Malam Abdullahi Musa then charged the new provost to justify the confidence reposed in him by the government by putting more efforts toward repositioning the institution for greater output and effective service delivery.
