An Agro-allied company known as Wynca popularly called WECAN has established and lunched a factory that specialized in the production of weed and pest killer products known as Sun Agro Chemicals Nigeria Limited.
The factory which was launched yesterday, located at Gezawa Local Government of Kano State promised to provide the best agro-chemical products that will empower local farmers in achieving bumper harvest.
Speaking to journalists, shortly after the formal launching of the company, Chairperson of the mother company Sun Agro Chemicals Nigeria Limited known as Wynca, Mr Wu Yeming says the company will not only do business as usual but will help local farmers skills acquisition.
“Our company came to help the farmers, agriculture in terms of training because we have a lot of experience in the agro-allied sector of the economy”
On his part, the District Head of Gezawa, Alhaji Mahamud Aminu Yusufu while commending the commencement of the factory, he emphasized on social and health development of the area including education water and sanitary.
“We appreciate the fact that the company is here to produce farm chemicals and we hope it will produce fertilizer and as you have had from various speakers at the event, they emphasized on job provision among the teaming youths in the locality”.
Yusuf Adamu Muhammad, Financial consultant and General Manager of the company while commenting on the benefits the people of the area will drive; he says from the time of the purchase of the piece of land to the erection of the structures, it is clear that more benefits will come their way.
