An APC chieftain in Kano and a staunch supporter of former President Muhammadu Buhari, Abdulmajeed Danbilki Kwamnada, has criticized President Bola Ahmad Tinubu’s approach and method of governance since assuming office as Nigeria’s President.
Abdulmajeed Danbilki Kwamnada made the statement in an interview aired on the Kano-based radio station Rahma Radio, which was monitored by NIGERIAN TRACKER.
Kwamanda questioned why, at this critical period in Nigeria’s history, the President would request a loan, which was approved by the National Assembly, and part of the loan would be used to purchase a Presidential Yacht for the President.
One very disturbing thing is also the allocation of 1.5 billion Naira to purchase official cars for the first lady, Oluremi Tinubu, which he says the office of the first lady is even unconstitutional.
Danbilki added that Nigerian politicians, especially those from his party, the APC, have cheated and disappointed the Nigerian masses, especially the northern masses who turned out in large numbers to elect President Tinubu.
Abdulmajeed further stated that the President’s wife has also gone against what she said before assuming office, that they didn’t want the well-wealth of Nigerians to survive.
Danbilki questioned what the President, who is nearly 80 years old, plans to do with a lavish lifestyle at this stage when he did not live that way in his younger years.
“We understand that President Tinubu frequently sends Kashim Shattima on foreign trips to represent him because he doesn’t want him to focus on and understand the problems in the northern region. Tinubu and his cohorts have a hidden agenda to destroy the entire northern region. This is impossible.” –
Danbilki, who is also a staunch supporter of Vice President Kashim Shettima, is known for his political criticisms in Kano and its environs in the Hausa language.
