The Betta Edu New Media Centre (BENMC) Appoints Abdulkadir Aliyu Shehu as Zonal Director for Media and Publicity in the North West Region
The National Directorate of the Betta Edu New Media Centre (BENMC) has announced the appointment of Abdulkadir Aliyu Shehu as the Zonal Director for Media and Publicity in the North West region, as approved by Yusuf Raul.
Abdulkadir Aliyu Shehu, a professional journalist with a degree in Mass Communications, has been recognized for his exceptional work in journalism, earning awards such as Young Journalist of the Year 2019, Best Presenter of the Year 2021, and Best Media Personnel 2021.
With experience in various roles, including Program Manager and Northern Coordinator at the Buhari New Media Center, as well as serving on the Presidential Campaign Council Contact and Mobilization in 2019, Shehu brings a wealth of expertise to his new position.
His most recent role was as Chairman of Media and Publicity for the Presidential Campaign Council in Gombe in 2023.
This appointment comes into immediate effect, and the Betta Edu New Media Centre looks forward to Shehu’s contributions to the success of the center in the North West region.
