The tenth Kano State House of Assembly is moving to amend the state Education law enacted in 1963 to meet international standards. Chairman of the House Standing Committee on Education, Hon. Sulaiman Muktar Ishaq, received the project coordinator of Adolescent Girls Initiatives for Learning and Empowerment, along with the project’s management team, at the Assembly today.
Hon. Sulaiman Muktar Ishaq emphasized the incumbent administration’s commitment to Education development and stressed the importance of establishing positive relations with stakeholders in the Education industry to ensure high-quality education in the State. He assured the project coordinator of the House’s full support for their tasks and encouraged transparency in their activities.
The project coordinator, Alhaji Nasir Abdullahi Kwalli, addressed the Assembly to update them on the progress of the AGILE project and its contributions towards educating girls across the State. He sought the Assembly’s support in advancing the project’s mission and praised the State government’s focus on education as a crucial factor in societal development.
