<p dir="ltr">Those who participated in the closed-door meeting with Ganduje at his former Deputy&#8217;s Abuja residence included Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna (the Gubernatorial candidate), his longstanding political ally Nasiru Aliko Koki, the APC returning officer for the 2023 general election, Rabiu Suleiman Bichi, and Lawal Daura, a relative of Buhari&#8217;s nephew Mamman Daura. However, the state APC chairman, Abdullahi Abbas, was absent, dealing with urgent matters. Nevertheless, one of the party&#8217;s principal officers, Bashir Mai Sango, was present.</p>
