<p>In a response to appeals from the Kano State Government, student bodies, and the general public, Bayero University has announced a one-month extension of the registration period. <p>The university&#8217;s management has initiated efforts to secure funding from corporate organizations, wealthy individuals, and philanthropists to support students facing financial difficulties. A notable contributor to this initiative is Alhaji Auwalu Abdullahi Rano, a prominent business figure, who has pledged his support to the university&#8217;s indigent scholarship scheme. During a recent visit, Alhaji Rano expressed his commitment to the program and vowed to rally other influential individuals and organizations to join in this noble cause, emphasizing that education is crucial for the overall growth and development of society.</p>
<p>Senator Rufa&#8217;i Sani Hanga, representing Kano Central, has generously undertaken to cover the registration fees for two hundred students from his constituency, while Honourable Abubakar Kabiru Abubakar, a member of the House of Representatives from Bichi Federal Constituency, has been sponsoring over 100 students at BUK. Their dedication to supporting education highlights the importance of investing in the youth.</p>

<p>Furthermore, Honourable Ado Alhassan Doguwa has also pledged to sponsor students from his constituency, reaffirming the commitment of public figures to making education accessible to all.
