Youth and Women’s Coalition Commends President Tinubu’s Appointment of Dr. Maryam Shatty as Minister”

Coalition of Youth and women Groups in Kano has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for nominating Dr Maryam Shatty as Minister of the federal Republic.

The group comprising politicians, civil society organizations, and community development leaders also hailed the president for given Nigerian youth an opportunity to demonstrate and showcase their God given talents in leadership.

Speaking to newsmen in Kano, head of the coalition Abubakar Muhammad (General)said, nomination of Dr Maryam Shatty represent the interest of women and youth who have been agitating for inclusion in governance of the Country.

He said, Kano people including politicians commended President Tinubu for selecting young brain into his cabinet.

Abubakar General Called on Nigerian youth, especially from Kano to support the ministerial nominee to achieve her vision for development.

”Dr. Maryam shatty is from Kano municipal local government area, a trained Physiotherapist with a 2nd Degree from London, the United Kingdom and her PhD from United States of America”.

”She worked with Aminu KonoTeaching Hospital as well as Dala Orthopaedic Hospital Plus her experiences while working in London and United States..

Abubakar General also said, it is on record that, Dr. Maryam shatty worked in different capacities in the private space, she led so many societal development Associations, as well as popular movement #webelieve and as politician she led I STAND WITH BUHARI movement.

While congratulating her, the group urged the ministerial nominee to be a good representation of Nigerian youth while serving as cabinet member for the present administration.

The group also congratulated Former Kano state deputy Governor Abdullahi Tijjani Muhammad Gwarzo for making to the list of the ministerial nominees.

They also called on the two nominees from the state to work hard for the success of president Tinubu’s administration.
