<p>Recently, an online news medium in Kano(Not NIGERIAN TRACKER) reported on the challenges faced by the Kano State Government House Public Relations Department. Upon Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf&#8217;s inauguration on May 29, 2023, the department underwent a complete overhaul, and new personnel were assigned to manage it.</p>
<p>Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf appointed Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, a public relations practitioner, as the Chief Press Secretary and spokesperson. However, just a month before Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf&#8217;s inauguration, complaints arose regarding the department&#8217;s lack of a competent and eloquent Master of Ceremony (MC) for events at the Government House.</p>
<p>The issue became evident during the recent Traditional Hawan Nassarawa, when the Emir of Kano visited Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf. Since then, the Governor has been actively searching for a capable MC who can make occasions at the Government House captivating without any public embarrassment.</p><div class="M0msYHan" style="clear:both;float:left;width:100%;margin:0 0 20px 0;"><script async src="https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js"></script>

<p>During the administrations of Malam Ibrahim Shekarau and Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Malam Aminu Kabir Yasar served as the MC at the Government House for over 14 years. However, when Governor Ganduje was about to leave the Government House, Malam Aminu Kabir Yassar also departed.</p>

<p>Even if the current Kano State Government decides not to reappoint the former DG Aminu Yassar as the MC at the Government House, there are other competent public relations practitioners in the state who can serve as MCs anywhere in the world. Some potential candidates are:</p>
<p>Alhaji Ahmad Aminu</p>

<p>A veteran broadcast journalist from Kano, Alhaji Ahmad Aminu gained recognition in the early 70s at Radio Nigeria Kaduna and the BBC. He previously served as the Permanent Secretary in the Kano State Ministry of Information. Alhaji Ahmad Aminu has experience as an MC during various significant events, including the swearing-in ceremonies of Governor Kabir Gaya in 1992, Governor Kwankwaso in 1999, Governor Ibrahim Shekarau in 2003, and the coronation of Emir Muhammad Sunusi II on February 7th, 2015.</p>
<p>Farouk Umar Othman</p>
<p>Another notable figure in broadcast journalism from Kano, Alhaji Farouk Umar Othman, is a retired Permanent Secretary from the state-owned television station, Abubakar Rimi Television. He completed his master&#8217;s degree at the University of Ohio in the United States. With his extensive experience, he is well-suited to serve as an MC.</p>
<p>Bello Sani Galadanchi</p>
<p>Alhaji Bello Sani Galadanchi is a retired broadcast journalist from Kano. He is known for his competence as well as his skills as a motivational speaker, much like Malam Ahmad Aminu and Farouk Umar Othman. Bello Sani Galadanchi is renowned for making occasions attractive and can do so anywhere in the world.</p>
<p>Muhammad Musa Muhammad Inya</p>
<p>Muhammad Musa Muhammad Inya is an energetic and competent MC from Kano who recently retired from the state&#8217;s radio corporation. He is sought after for various events within and outside Kano.</p>
<p>Malam Aliyu Yusuf,</p>
<p>A Mass Communications graduate from Bayero University, Class of 1998, currently serves as the Director of Public Enlightenment at the state&#8217;s Ministry of Education. With his experience as a former Kano state Government House correspondent for triumph newspapers.</p>
<p>Abbas Ibrahim,</p>
<p>Is the current chairman of the Nigerian Union of Journalists in Kano state, is a seasoned journalist with years of experience. He is currently associated with Radio Kano and is widely recognized for his eloquence and ability to thrive in any occasion.</p>

<p>Ahmad Rufai Bello</p>
<p>Ahmad Rufai Bello, popularly known as RB Junior, is a highly competent and eloquent Master of Ceremony (MC) that Kano is fortunate to have.</p>
<p>With nearly three decades of experience, Ahmad Rufai Bello has become a household name among radio listeners in Kano.</p>
<p>He began his career at Radio Kano FM before transitioning to the first indigenous Northern private FM station, Freedom Radio.</p>
<p>Ahmad Rufai Bello consistently delivers energetic and passionate performances as an MC at every event he is invited to.</p>
<p>In addition to his MC work, he also serves as a media consultant and currently holds the position of Media Coordinator at Dala Inland Dry Port.</p>
<p>All eyes are now on the Kano State Government to get the service of a new state orator, who will not only boast the image of the government, but saves the state from public embarassment.</p>
