KUMBOTSO, Nigeria – Hon Hassan Garban Kauye Farawa, the Executive Council Chairman of Kumbotso Local Government Area, has recently provided training to 50 youths from the council on social media management as a means of fostering self-reliance. In addition, he equipped them with sophisticated mobile phones to enable them to effectively engage in this field.

During an address to the beneficiaries, Farawa emphasized the growing importance of well-trained and energetic youths in today’s digital world. He further expressed the council’s decision to adapt to the prevailing trends by transitioning from conventional methods to digital platforms.

“We are currently operating in a digital world where the impact of social media has significantly transformed various aspects of our lives. Hence, we deem it necessary to empower our own youths,” Farawa stated. “This initiative marks only the beginning, as we intend to sustain and expand it until we achieve our desired objectives.”
