Kano Mobile Phone Sellers  Pledges Support for Incoming Governor to Combat Phone Snatching

The Mobile Phone Sellers Association of Kano State has pledged their cooperation and support to the incoming Governor, Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf, to tackle the issue of phone snatching and promote the development of the state.

In a press statement signed by the association’s chairman, Alhaji Ahmad Tijjani Isma’il, he highlighted the support they received from former Governor, Engineer Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, during his administration from 2011 to 2015. Under his leadership, the association was formed, and members received training, equipment, and capital to improve their businesses and become self-reliant.

The Mobile Phone Sellers Association now boasts over 50 markets in Kano metropolis and many other local governments in the state, benefiting thousands of youths. Alhaji Ahmad Tijjani Ismail commended the quality of Kwankwaso’s administration and his love for the development of the common people, stating that the association mobilized their members to support the NNPP and voted for Abba Kabir Yusuf during the election.

The association is fully prepared to support the incoming government to develop the youth and generate income from the Gsm markets and network providers in the state. With their cooperation, they hope to combat the issue of phone snatching and promote the growth of Kano state.
