Kano Emir Returns to Warm Welcome after Umrah

Kano, Nigeria – His Highness, the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero CFR JP, has returned to Kano after performing Umrah for eight days. The Emir landed at the Aminu Kano International Airport with his brother, Emir of Bichi Alhaji Nasiru Ado Bayero, and the Emir of Bauchi Alhaji Dr. Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu.

During his visit to the holy land, the Emir of Kano accompanied President Muhammadu Buhari on the Umrah pilgrimage. Upon his return, the Emir was greeted by his aides, as well as other prominent individuals, and scores of Kano people who gathered on the streets to welcome him.

The Emir’s Chief Press Secretary, Abubakar Balarabe Kofar Naisa, signed the press statement announcing his return.
