<p dir="ltr">Kano has launched electric tricycles for women riders in a joint venture between Links, an economic growth hub in northern Nigeria, and Sterling Bank. The tricycles, which are solely driven by women and will only carry women passengers, were introduced in a ceremony where Group Head of Non-Interest Banking and Strategy at Sterling Bank, Garba Muhammad, announced that 100 tricycles had been purchased for the initiative. Eighty-five women have been selected as beneficiaries and will pay for the tricycles over the next three years through a free-interest loan.
